!Welcome to Blindly Audhd, where I explore the various facets of life as a blind, AuDHD weirdo. The blind part is, most likely, obvious, but for those who aren't familiar with the concept, AuDHD is what happens when autism and ADHD decide they're going to be part of the same brain. And trust me, I know from experience, it's not always pretty.

WHO, EXACTLY AM I?

Well, now, that's a question whose answer is, and I think will always be, somewhat of a work in progress. What is known so far, though, in a nutshell, is that I am a nonbinary (agender), autistic/ADHD musician and voice actor with interests ranging from gaming to crafting to science fiction/fantasy. My deep passion is my music,, which ranges from mellow tracks such as the guided awakening "Slow Rising Bird" to the upbeat and busy short Acoustic Industry. So Why Is This Here?

There are, at any given time, a zillion blogs about life as a blind person, and life as an autistic/AuDHD person. So why do we need another one? Because, as far as I've seen, no one is talking about the intersection. I think, when I tried to search, at the time, for "blind autistic," I found maybe one reference, with all the rest of the results talking about time-blindness and the like. So, I have decided to DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SEEMING LACK.

So What Exactly Is This?

Blindly AuDHD is my attempt to raise awareness of what life is like as not just a blind person, not just an autistic, not just an ADHDer, but all of these things together, in all their craziness, good, bad and ugly. This isn't a motivation site, or a doom and gloom site, rather, it is frank talk about what life is like at the intersection of 3 challenging states of being, an intersection that can, at some times, be absolutely amazing, and at others can be ultimately trying in the nth degree. I hope you'll come along with me on this journey, whether you identify with any of these traits yourself or not, and maybe learn a thing or two along the way.
